How to download from Adhar Card online?
You can download your e-Aadhaar from the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) or the myAadhaar portal. You can use your Aadhaar number, Enrolment ID, Virtual ID, or facial recognition to download your e-Aadhaar. Downloaded e-Aadhaar is as valid as the original Aadhaar letter.
Steps to download from Adhar Card by Aadhaar number
Go to and click on "Download Aadhaar".
Select "Aadhaar Number" option and enter your 12-digit UID (1234/1234/1234).
Select "Regular Aadhaar" or "Masked Aadhaar". Masked Aadhaar will only show the last four digits of your UID.
Enter the captcha code and click on "Send OTP" or "Enter TOTP". OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. TOTP is a time-based one-time password generated by the mAadhaar app.
Enter the OTP or TOTP and click on "Verify and Download". Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded in PDF format.
Open the PDF file and enter the first four letters of your name and year of birth as the password. For example, if your name is Ravi Kumar and year of birth is 1990, then the password is RAVI1990.

Enter the captcha code and click on "Proceed". A pop-up window will appear asking you to allow access to your camera.
Click on "Allow" and look at the camera. A green box will appear around your face when it is detected. Click on "Capture" when you are ready.
Your face image will be verified with your Aadhaar data. If it matches, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP and click on "Verify and Download". Your e-Aadhaar will be downloaded in PDF format.
